Dobbs Construction is the absolute best out there. We hired them for a very large renovation of our 1907 home. There were many challenges, and Everton and Nick and their team stuck with us the whole time. We never had a single days delay that was due to them. This impressed me greatly because the work stopped due to permits and the architect, but Dobbs was always ready to resume construction when we were ready. They did a beautiful job. Our renovation included complete gut of 80% of the house. They added a primary bedroom and bathroom on 3rd floor. Renovated the 2nd floor bathroom and made a new half bath on the 1st floor. Rebuilt the stairs. Added central heating and A/C and completely re-designed the first floor layout. They also built gorgeous custom bookshelf (pictured) and units with dressers to fit under the eaves in the attic. They were honest, professional, respectful and even fun to work with. We highly recommend! We wouldn't call anyone else for our renovation needs.

Dobbs Construction did an outstanding job on a full gut renovation of 6,000 sq ft of commercial space for us, transforming it into a beautiful upscale environment. The project included everything from electrical demo and replacement of a 3-phase system, to plumbing, framing, sheetrock, stairs, flooring, and painting. They came in after another contractor was fired for poor workmanship, and the difference was night and day. Everton Dobbs is a diamond in the rough. He and his team helped us with a huge project this spring - completely re-doing our front porch, gutting and refinishing two stairwells, adding a laundry closet, building a new closet, and generally catching everyone else’s mistakes. While we hired them just for construction, I would definitely bring him in sooner next time. He was prompt, professional, communicates clearly, and helped us make good choices on finer details and materials. When permits were challenging, he stayed on top of it and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Most importantly, he really takes pride in the quality of his work and went the extra mile to make things look nice.
