Modern Kitchens and Bath

I used MKB as contractor (along with an outside architect) and recommend this contractor to anyone wanting a beautiful result. Scope of work done: Master bathroom completely demo’d, including three walls, emperor bathtub and platform; toilet moved 10 feet; shower greatly enlarged and tiled in complex pattern. Framed four interior spaces, and created a pocket door to separate shower area from vanity and closet. Remodeled closet and installed swing doors. Removed carpet and installed wood flooring. Installed 10 dual-pane energy efficient windows. Updated and painted entire bathroom, closet, and bedroom painted, ceilings & walls. Fixed stucco and painted entire exterior of house including deck floor. PROs: Beautiful, professional results: clean, precise lines. Adjusted to my time schedule as I had to leave town several times.(which extended the time it took to finish, but in between they worked quickly. Accommodated several changes and additions to the job. Workers pleasant and knowledgeable. Protected areas adjacent and furniture covered. Cleaned up after themselves. CONs: There were issues with communication - due to some office turnover, information seemed to get lost between them sometimes.  For example, a few of the change orders needed adjustments to reflect what actually happened onsite.  However, they were understanding and worked with me to get everything straightened out in the end. Altogether a good experience. I would describe Henry as kind, accommodating, and high energy.  He really wants to make sure the client is happy.  I am very much enjoying my new master bathroom!

We recently completed an extensive kitchen renovation with Modern Kitchens and Bath and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We had a very specific plan for the design and layout for the kitchen and they were able to execute exactly what we wanted. From the outset communication with Fadi and the team was friendly and consistent. The cost estimate was right in the middle of our other estimates and there were no surprises at the end, we came in right on budget. The team completed the project within the estimated time frames. Their crew was on time, courteous, and cleaned up at the end of the day. Like any big renovation project there are always some hiccups along the way, but they were receptive to fixes and changes the whole way through. We are very satisfied with the finished product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

Modern Kittchen and Bath built my new kitchen. They provided the full service, including demolishing, electricity, cabinets, drywall, painting, and the tile backsplash. The job was very professional. They work extremely clean. They sealed the work area with a plastic tarp and a zipper. The cabinets were custom made, and fit perfectly. At the first appointment they came onsite to take all the measurements, and did a check on the house. We then met at their studio to pick the components. They have an enormous amount of different finishes, tiles, handles, etc.. After every workday they left the place clean, and tidy. The result is just wonderful. I will definitely continue to work them for the rest of my house. In the meantime Modern Kitchen & Bath also did my bathroom and it turned out wonderful. Again a very clean job and just fantastic work.
