If you’re looking for a renovator in the Melbourne inner & south east suburbs look no further than House Sanctuary Builders. With Arthur and his crew you couldn’t be in better hands. I first contacted Arthur about renovating my future bathrooms and laundry before I even owned the house. I found the House Sanctuary Builders website through Google and he had amazing reviews, the photos and his website gave me the feeling he put a lot of pride into the jobs he did. Once I had met him in person I could immediately tell he was someone who carefully planned and thought out the scope of the works needed. During our initial meeting he was very thorough with checking everything that needed to be done so nothing was missed. While I did my due diligence and got multiple quotes Arthur gave me a very reasonable quote for the work and laid out how much I’d have to pay at every stage of the project from the very beginning! (While another guy who I got a quote from gave me a quote double the price and wanted fifty percent upfront!). At every step along the way Arthur checked in with me, including prior to starting to ensure we had everything we needed like the vanities, tiles, etc all in advance. The guys in Arthur’s team did an absolutely fabulous job, they brought the ideas I had to life in such a beautiful and meticulous way. Because it was late autumn/summer they often worked late into the evening and started early. While I wasn’t living in the house yet my neighbours told me they sometimes saw the guys there beginning work at 7am! Once I did move in I woke up at 7am to hear the guys doing work (made me feel like such a slacker 😝) They even helped me out extra by fixing the step into the garage which had exposed nails. They even came on some weekends when needed to ensure everything was finished on time! Not only was it finished on time, it was actually finished a week early! How often do you hear of renovations finishing on time or early?! Other friends who’ve done Renos before have talked about the nightmare they had, but that couldn’t be further from my experience working with Arthur and the House Sanctuary team! It was honestly an absolute dream! So much so even before they finished the job I decided to get them to do my kitchen next year!

Arthur and his team at House Sanctuary Builders did an absolutely amazing job in my kitchen! They did my bathrooms and laundry last year and this year I had them back to do the kitchen. I choose the colours to match my favourite pokemon and chose design elements to link to it like the three floating shelves. Arthur and his team are amazing at what they do, they take pride in it which means you come away with an absolutely gorgeous result. They were also able to give me a bigger kitchen with more storage and the quality of the hardware they use for the draws (as an example) is superb no way those draws are falling out or slipping off their hinges! Since they finished my kitchen I’ve been cooking for the first time again in years and I’ve been having so much fun in my kitchen! Whether it’s a large renovation or something a bit smaller it’s worth investing in the right people and team so it comes out perfectly! House Sanctuary Builders are the right team for the job, they can really make your house sing for you. Seriously cannot recommend them highly enough! We had our son's flat renovated with a kitchen and bathroom re-model. After two bad experiences with previous builders, it was a relief to deal with Arthur who is such a warm, honest man full of integrity and care for the work his team does. His communication was regular with clear open explanations of issues to be overcome. He generously helped a neighbour with their problem too. The cabinetry looks so good and with the tiles, tapware and quality appliances I chose, his installers even made improvements fitting everything together. I always get a thrill when I visit the flat. I value Arthur as a friend now and recommend him and his team highly.
