The entire process from start to finish was seamless and reliable. I’m happy with the final outcome and enjoyed the experience with GFA. I’d like to say thank you to the team, Rod, Felicity, Norman, Michael and Danielle - the team are valuable assets to your company and really make GFA standout. Felicity supported with transforming my vision into reality, and I commend her and the architect/engineering teams for their agility and problem solving with making the limited space work (51sqm is the size of our granny flat). Norman was great during pre construction and during the external builds, he was thorough and kept me well informed about all the works to be done and was helpful with his recommendations. We were then handed over to Michael, who’s an absolute gun! He ensured works progressed timely and smoothly, communicated clearly and even offered to help if we noticed any defects after the keys were handed over. My only feedback would be to provide clearer explanations during the material selection process, especially when it comes to custom or add on materials. I originally selected a splash back panel that was an add on, however was notified during the last stages of the project that the company hadn’t worked with the supplier’s material before so they couldn’t guarantee warranty or final finish of the splash back. This is understandable, however I would have appreciated if this was communicated up front during the material selection meeting and to work through alternatives earlier on instead of deciding last minute on secondary options, which were done close to completion of the project. Thankfully we managed to land on splash back tiles that we were satisfied with, so thanks Felicity for working through this with me.
